BUNCO is back for the Holidays

Come join this fun, fast paced game that supports At-Risk Youth in your community. The Curry County Juvenile Department is hosting this fun filled dice game, if you can roll dice you can play, bring your friends and family for a night of fun for a great cause. With the funds raised we have been able to help youth get ID Cards, Food Handler Cards, Birth Certificates, Clothing, Shoes, Hygiene Items, and Food. Every dollar goes back to our youth.

Cessation Classes Coming Up - January

Curry Public Library, Gold Beach

Next class will start on January 5th, 2026, at the Curry Public Library in Gold Beach.

This is a cessation class to help quit nicotine.

It is a FREE class, and all are welcome.

Top Shelf Cannabis - 704 Chetco Ave, Brookings

Curry County Prevention is partnering up with Top Shelf Cannabis for this important Secure you Cannabis and Prescription Medications Event.

We will be handing out lock boxes to encourage users to lock up their cannabis and prescription medications if children or pets are in the home.

This event will be held Friday January 30th, 2026, from 11am-3pm, one lock box per household, we will also be collecting any old or unused prescription medications at this event. Stop by and see us to learn about all our amazing resources we provide.

SUDS on the Coast

Curry County Fairgrounds - Showcase Building

Join us for our next SUDS on the Coast meeting on February 12th, 2026, from 4pm-6pm at the Curry County Fairgrounds - Showcase Building. This is a community meeting that talks about resources and service gaps in relation to substance use disorders. We also discuss, alternative activities, housing, boundaries, new ideas and partnerships. We have over 20 community partners that attend these meeting and invite the public to join in.
